Sean is the Group Legal Advisor in 3 Hong Kong listed companies in the Tsinghua Tongfang Group and a Director of the True Group. Sean practised as a lawyer for 12 years around Asia specialising in commercial litigation, insolvency and restructuring, and thereafter ventured into business in China and coal-mining in Indonesia. Sean has been involved in competitive sports all his life, and his interests in sports brought him to co-found a football management and events company that brought Real Madrid C.F. to play in China and the inaugural Soccerex Asian Forum to Singapore, and a football academy for kids.

One of the companies Sean worked in acquired a majority stake in the True Group in June 2017, and Sean was appointed to the Board of the True Group in December that same year. Sean was part of a 3-man management team that took over management of the same in May 2018, and since then has lost no time in restructuring the business. Applying his unique insights and approach to the fitness industry, and coupled with his deep interest in sports, fitness and equipment, Sean has been a breath of fresh air to the industry introducing a new exciting brand “TFX” into Singapore with its unique and innovative offerings of technology and personally curated multi-brand, best-in-class equipment. Sean is passionate about rugby, strength and conditioning, and Crossfit.
