Terry Kew is a BSc Medicine (Honours) graduate, and has over 20 years of varied experience in the health, fitness and biotechnology industries in the UK, USA, Europe and Asia, Australia, New Zealand and South African markets.
　　Terry has developed his career in the fitness industry over a period of 20 years in numerous capacities inter alia as General Manager for a large, publicly listed, multi-national organization, LeisureNet Ltd. In addition, for two years he was directly responsible for the FMCG division (health products) during which time he struck up a strategic business partnership with Gold’s Gym Inc., Health Products division. This business partnership focused primarily on the in-club as well as commercial retail of weight-loss services and products, and was based out of Los Angeles, USA.
　　Over a period of four years Terry operated a privately owned, start-up biotechnology company involving the importation and wholesale distribution of a wide range of products including high-tech, biomedical and paramedical equipment.
　　Terry commenced as Sales & Operations Director for Fitness First Australia in December 2000, previously employed by Healthland Australia for two years as National Sales and Marketing Manager. His focus was to develop, implement and manage effective sales and operating strategies for the Australian subsidiary of Fitness First International. In conjunction with his Australian role, in September 2002 Terry was appointed to the position of International Sales Director, with responsibilities across nearly 500 clubs in 15 countries in the UK, Europe, Asia and Australia. In February 2007 Terry was appointed to the role of Global Sales Director and relinquished his operational responsibilities in Australia.
　　During his career, Terry has participated in various sporting disciplines inter alia rugby union, track athletics and surf lifesaving, and has competed at both national and international levels. Currently he’s a keen competitor in 24 hour and 48 hour non-stop adventure racing.
