"Mark Kinvig has been in the fitness industry since 1999 having joined California Fitness Centers as Chief Financial Officer after advising a venture capital consortium on acquiring the company when it had 4 locations’, 3 in Hong Kong and 1 in Singapore. Mark worked with the then CEO and senior team to build out California Fitness Centers into Taiwan, South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia and China. Mark played an instrumental role in merging California Fitness Centers with 24 Hour Fitness in 2000 and then in the eventual sale of 24 Hour Fitness to Forstmann Little in 2005 when California Fitness had 24 locations.
　　Mark left California Fitness in 2005 after this sale and was asked to join PURE Group in the summer of 2006 as Chief Operating Officer. Mark today works with PURE'S CEO in shaping group strategy and oversees many areas of the business including all back office functions, PT, club operations, retail and corporate sales.
He is a native of the UK and has been in Asia since 1997 and is a UK qualified Chartered Accountant and a graduate of The London School of Economics"
