Training Manager

Les Mills International (LMI) creates the world’s most popular group exercise programs. We have 30 offices around the globe delivering our programs to 16,000 gyms where they are taught by 100,000 instructors to millions of people each week. Les Mills China (LMC) represents Les Mills across China and Korea with more than 280 fitness facilities as customers and over 600 certified instructors. 

 

And we’re just getting started. LMC is in an exciting expansion phase and you will be part of a team that aims to triple the number of club customers in 5 years. We seek a world-class Training Manager to grow and develop the size and quality of our trainer and instructor tribe.

The Role

·        Reports to the Instructor Experience Director and focuses on trainer development and event training to grow the size and quality of the instructor tribe 

·        Ensure all training and assessment reflects Les Mills values and standards

·        Deliver world class educational events and experiences

·        Work with the LMI Training Director and LMC Customer Experience Team to support club growth and operational programs

·        Manage our database to track instructors trained and assessed, release kit compliance and QWS participation

·        Manage the support roles  - Training & Engagement Coordinators 

The Candidate

·        ‘Lives’ the Les Mills brand

·        Bilingual– Mandarin and English (verbal & written)

·        Able to set and maintain a high standard of trainingand facilitation for our trainers

·        Has great communication skills and is able to engage and motivate our trainer team

·        Organized, detail oriented, able to prioritize and multi-task

·        Has knowledge in Les Mills instructor training and assessment process, experience as an Les Mills instructor or trainer preferred

·        Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, e-mail)

This is a key training role required to grow both the number and quality of our Instructor Tribe in China, helping us move us toward our 2020 global goal of having 100 million people perweek participating in a Les Mills health experience.
